פִּלְפְּלָא, פִּלְפַּלְתָּא, פִּילְ׳ch. sam(פלפל, פול׳ pepper). Keth.75a אפשר דנקיט פ׳וכ׳ he may take a grain (or a bit) of pepper in his mouth (to dispel the bad smell) and perform his priestly function.
